Staff Roster 2016-17

I am pleased to be the director of CAPS at UC Santa Barbara and introduce the staff to you. One of my main goals is to make counseling available and accessible to all students. I strongly believe in making CAPS as welcoming as possible so that students of all races, ethnicities, genders, and orientations know that counseling is indeed meant for all of us. We can all use help in achieving our goals at some point in our lives. I strive to have CAPS continue to be a place where diversity of people, thoughts and ideas can thrive with respect for all. As you read these brief staff bios, I hope you see our staff as more than what is listed here. They truly are professionals who care about students and who want to contribute to a healthy campus environment. We all want students to succeed in obtaining not only an academic degree from the University of California, but also achieve a sense of well-being and balance within a healthy lifestyle.

Sincerely,
Jeanne Stanford, Ph.D.
Director, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
