Hello and welcome! I am so glad you're considering seeking services at CAPS. I’ve worked in higher education for many years and know how exciting and challenging the university environment can be. I can attest to how crucial it is to get support in difficult moments. While I work with a wide variety of individuals and concerns, I particularly enjoy supporting graduate students, LGBTQ + folks, people with chronic health issues, and those with anxiety. I have a strong background in working with neurodiverse people and am part of our ADHD team. I come from a Cultural Relational Therapy perspective, and aim to understand how all parts of your identity and life affect your feelings and reactions. I often use self-compassion as a lens to help people find relief. I believe the key to feeling well is the ability to engage in strong relationships. I work together with my clients to foster an environment where they can better understand how they relate to others. Our identity plays a huge role in how we relate, so I work to incorporate social identity into our conversations. I hope to learn more about you, your identities, what you love, and how to help you feel better!
