Psychology Intern

Clinical PsyD, Alliant International University

Welcome to UCSB counseling and psychological services (CAPS). I am excited for the opportunity to work with students at UCSB and hope to help provide a safe, comforting, and validating experience.

I am a doctoral intern who specializes in working with BIPOC, the LGBTQ+ community, and those living with eating disorders. I have experience supporting issues surrounding how our culture can impact identity development, systemic problems, imposter syndrome, and body image. I aspire to provide culturally responsive and trauma informed care. I come from an Acceptance and Commitment as well as Dialectical Behavioral therapy perspective and often focus on values, mindfulness, and what leads us to move away from the things we enjoy and care about.

Outside of the realm of therapy I love to read, find new music to add to my never-ending playlists, and try out different hobbies!
