Hello and welcome to UCSB Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)! I’m so glad you’re considering engaging in services at our center. I enjoy working with college students because I know how challenging higher education can be, and how helpful it can be to have support during this pivotal time!
I have experience working with college-aged students with a wide array of mental health needs. Specifically, I enjoy supporting high-achieving students who have perfectionistic tendencies and associate their self-worth with productivity and performance. My other areas of professional interest and experience include multiculturalism, working with substance use concerns, relationships and interpersonal struggles, trauma, and identity development.
On a personal note, I enjoy basketball (both playing and watching, go Dubs!), driving along the coast blasting 2000’s bangers, and finding the best coffee shops in every new city I live in!
