About

Hello! My name is Davece Pires, and I am a graduate student therapist earning my M.A. in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. I am currently completing my practicum training and expect to graduate in spring 2027.

I describe my therapeutic style as collaborative, strengths-based, and humanistic. Put simply, I have a deep respect for my clients’ understanding of their own life experiences and what makes life meaningful to them. I bring curiosity, reflection, thoughtful questions, and respectful challenge to help clients clarify what they think and feel, recognize their strengths, and see possibilities they may be overlooking. I see my role as a therapist as that of a supportive guide rather than the person with all the answers.

I am interested in working with clients experiencing anxiety and stress around life transitions, relationship and family concerns, and the uncertainty that can come with making decisions about school, career, relationships, and the direction of one’s life. I especially enjoy helping clients move toward choices that feel more aligned with who they are and what matters to them. My hope is that clients leave their time with me feeling empowered to navigate challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and trust in themselves.

Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, strength training, listening to music, and creating art from just about anything.
