Hi there and welcome to UCSB CAPS! Everyone deserves to have their story heard and responded to with empathy, compassion, and care. Imagine the comfort of being wrapped in your warmest blanket with a soothing beverage on a really cold or rainy day. While every session may not feel that way, I strive to create an environment of warmth and safety as we embark on the therapy journey. Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, my career has focused on providing therapy and teaching at college campuses in Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, and California. My focus is on providing culturally responsive therapy, particularly for Black-identified students.
