Hello! My name is Mia (she/her), and I am excited to be part of the CAPS team!
Clinically, I am passionate about providing LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy, supporting women’s mental health, working with OCD, religious trauma, and life transitions/adjustments.
I practice from humanistic and relational/psychodynamic theoretical orientations, and I also work from a social justice lens. I am passionate about supporting clients in the process of becoming their most authentic selves, while navigating complex systems. I value the therapeutic relationship and prioritize creating a space that feels safe and affirming. My goal is to journey alongside my clients, honor their stories, and support the process of their unique self-integration and authenticity.
Outside of clinical work, I enjoy spending time in nature, doing photography, listening to music, and playing Minecraft!
