Hello and welcome! I am thrilled to be part of the UCSB community and students’ journey of self-discovery and growth. My approach tends to be compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I believe that individuals are experts on themselves, and therefore, focus on tailoring therapy to meet each student’s needs. I aim to provide culturally sensitive therapy that honors your strengths, cultural background and personal identity. I still remember the overwhelming sense of confusion and unsettling feeling when I first started my journey as an international student studying abroad. That is why I value and am dedicated to empowering and guiding students on their path in pursuit of personal development, academic success and overall wellbeing. I am bilingual in Mandarin and English. My clinical interests include adjustment and acculturation, anxiety, depression, mindfulness as well as international student mental health, and Asian American mental health.
I look forward to meeting you!
