Hello and welcome! As we navigate through college and graduate school, it is common for us to encounter challenges that are sometimes difficult to overcome by ourselves. I feel honored for the opportunity to support you in this journey.
In therapy, my goal is to facilitate you in gaining more self-awareness, recognizing the strengths that have carried you this far, and collaborating with you in exploring new coping strategies. I strive to create a trusting and accepting environment where you can feel safe to explore and be yourself. I am interested in understanding your intersecting identities and unique cultural experience through a multicultural lens. My areas of special interest include but are not limited to anxiety and depression, multicultural issues (such as cross-cultural adjustment, identity development, minority stress, etc.), trauma, mindfulness, and working with international students, first-generation students, and marginalized groups. I provide therapy in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
In addition to psychology, I love board games, karaoke, cooking, exploring new food and places, and spending time with friends, family, and my cat. I look forward to working with you toward healing, wellness, and self-growth!
