Welcome to UCSB CAPS! I look forward to getting to know you, providing you with support and advocacy, and to working together towards your therapeutic goals. I utilize a strengths-based, collaborative, and systemic approach to therapy. I see every student as the expert on themselves and view my role as a support to you on your chosen path and to help you in navigating the various setbacks, detours, decisions, and achievements along the way. I seek to provide culturally sensitive, trauma-informed therapy -- rallying your various internal and external resources and support systems, and always honoring your unique experiences and intersecting identities. I have specific interests in and am passionate about neurodiversity (ADHD in particular), trauma and resilience, social justice advocacy, and therapeutic assessment. In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends, exercising, being outdoors, and practicing ukulele (not well).
