Psychologist
University of California Santa Barbara
CAPS Annex, Building 434
Hello and welcome to the CAPS! I am passionate about helping others improve their sense of self and enhance their daily experiences. As an alumni of UCSB, I feel privileged to be working at this university with such amazing and talented students and staff. While I enjoy working with a variety of individuals facing different challenges, my special interests are in addressing identity and relationship issues, maternal mental health, intergenerational trauma, first-generation college students issues, acculturation, and Latino mental health. I also love focusing on resilience, mindfulness, and self-compassion throughout my work. My hope is that in working with my clients, I can foster a supportive and caring environment where people feel heard, understood, and connected. Additionally, as a bilingual psychologist, I enjoy incorporating both Spanish and English into my sessions with other Spanish-speakers.
