Hello and welcome! I love working with college and graduate students, and I feel honored to be a part of the CAPS team at UCSB. Whether you’re beginning or revisiting therapy, it can be a daunting process to get started. It’s my privilege to start this journey with you.

My approach to therapy is rooted in feminist and multicultural theories. From this foundation, I integrate strengths-based, relational, and acceptance-based strategies. However, I shape our work together based on your individual needs. My aim is to help you increase insight into your own resilience, enhance awareness of what might be getting in the way, and explore tools to cultivate healing and improved wellness. I strive to co-create an authentic and safe space in which you feel seen, heard, celebrated, and empowered in.
My areas of focus include trauma and resilience, LGBTQIA+ affirming care, identity exploration and development, Latinx students, survivors of interpersonal violence, family of origin concerns, anxiety, depression, and transitional processes.

Outside of psychology and storytelling, I find joy in nature outings with friends, moving my body, camping, appreciating art, and a good playlist.
